ABOUT THE TEAM

Sarina Priori Pelvic Floor Physio
SARINA PRIORI

Sarina Priori graduated in 1990 with a physiotherapy degree from the University of Sydney. She is passionate about continence and pelvic floor rehabilitation and has been working solely in this area since 1999. In 2003 she underwent further training and completed a postgraduate certificate in continence and pelvic floor rehabilitation from Melbourne University. She is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and past chairperson of the NSW Continence and Women’s Health Group (APA). She also worked at the Continence Foundation of Australia in NSW as a health promotions officer and clinician. She has lectured at various conferences and courses in her chosen field to other health professionals, physiotherapists and the general public.

She feels fortunate to have assisted many women, children and men over the years, in their journeys towards optimal pelvic health. She has a caring and holistic approach in the assessment and treatment of the whole person with attention to an individual’s goals, to ensure the best possible outcomes. She aims to empower people to take control of their own health.

She keeps current by regularly attending national and international conferences and courses, to provide the most up to date information and treatments for her patients.

In her spare time Sarina loves to cook and entertain, bushwalk and do yoga. Her practice has grown and she is happy to introduce Eddie Gonano (men’s health and general physiotherapy) and Bo Li (women’s health/pelvic girdle and general physiotherapy) to the practice.

BO LI

Bo Li has been practising in the area of women's health and incontinence since 2009. She graduated from University of Sydney in 2003, and has extensive physiotherapy experience in general musculoskeletal physiotherapy in private practice. She has also worked in the fields of orthopaedics and rehabilitation in both public and private hospitals.

Her passion in women's health and incontinence developed after having had her own children. She now loves to help manage issues such as incontinence, prolapse, dyspareunia, pregnancy pain/ pelvic girdle pain, abdominal separation, returning to exercise including high impact exercise after pregnancy and general post-partum rehabilitation.

She has a holistic approach, carefully listening to her client's goals, prioritising goals and assessing the body as a whole. She enjoys using Real Time Ultrasound to ensure and provide feedback to her patients on how the whole core/pelvic floor/abdominal system is functioning.  She incorporates the principles of strengthening, Pilates and optimising movement and load to achieve the best outcome. Achieving the best quality of life is always the aim with her patients.

In her spare time, she loves to unprofessionally skate, surf mini-waves, lift weights, play music, sing and complete DIY projects!

EDDIE GONANO

Eddie Gonano graduated from Cumberland College of Health Sciences (now University of Sydney) in 1988. Since graduating over 30 years ago, he has been working in the fields of musculoskeletal physiotherapy, orthopaedic rehabilitation, injury analysis, management and prevention in the corporate space. He also has a strong interest in sports physiotherapy, and has worked with various premier league soccer teams as the team’s physiotherapist before having a family.

In 1997 he completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. He has strong analytical skills with a caring and holistic approach. He has a strong focus on integrating progression of exercise for complete rehabilitation and self-management.

In the last three years his interest in men's health has grown, following his father suffering with urinary incontinence after prostate cancer treatment. He is able to utilise his excellent assessment skills and ‘exercise as treatment’ approach to rehabilitate his pelvic patients back to good health and self-management.

In his spare time Eddie loves to ski, analyse and play soccer, rollerblade, watch movies and spend time with his two sons.
